Metal Wagtail

This Metal Wagtail is supplied in ‘ready to rust’ raw mild steel your wagtail will rust over time so you can experience the enjoyment of watching your wagtail as it naturally turns rusty.

To speed up the rusting process an occasional spray of salty water over the first few days or so will help create the rust effect. Alternatively you could colour your wagtail with metal paint to create your own unique piece of artwork.

The wagtail measures 160mm x 107mm x 2mm and is available in 2 variations;

Option 1 has a fixing plate which is bent prior to shipping and 2 holes ensures the security of your artwork when fixed into place.

This option is Ideal for mounting to a fence, fence post, pergola, arbour, shed, tree or wall

If you prefer to receive the fixing plate flat please message me when placing your order.

Option 2 has a spike on the bottom which can easily be pushed into a lawn, vegetable patch, patio pot, window box, flower bed, planter or border.
