This Metal Wren is an ideal rusty garden bird. Try it on a fence, pergola or allotment shed.
Supplied in ‘ready to rust’ raw mild steel your wren will rust over time so you can experience the enjoyment of watching your wren as it naturally turns rusty.
To speed up the rusting process an occasional spray of salty water over the first few days or so will help create the rust effect. Alternatively you could colour your wren with metal paint to create your own unique piece of artwork.
Ideal for mounting to a fence, fence post, tree, arbour, pergola, shed or wall, your wren will add character and interest to your outdoor space. A silhouette against a blue or grey sky creates a great focal point.
The fixing plate is bent prior to shipping and 2 holes ensures the security of your artwork when fixed into place.

I’ve had a few metal birds over the years and this one is by far the best. It’s not flimsy as the metal is not thin like others I’ve had. The wren shape is perfect and it even has detailed little claws. It exceeded my expectations and arrived on time too, all the way to the Isle of Skye. I have perched him on the gatepost of our holiday cottage. I’m sure guests will love him when they arrive!
